​The damage from a direct frontal hit to the tank can be visibly seen. The crew were killed by this during the fighting.​

The Sherman tank is now a memorial overlooking the river Ourthe.​

Memorial Plaque​

​​This Sherman tank took a direct hit during the battle in the Ardennes, killing the entire crew. The damage inflicted to the tank can be seen from the front, where the German round penetrated its armour.
