The Haus der Geschichte (House of History) in Bonn, Germany was inaugurated in 1994. More than 7,000 exhibits representing contemporary history are spread over a surface of 4,000 m2. The permanent exhibition depicts the political, cultural and economical development of Germany since the end of the Second World War in 1945.
